Established in 2002, Simovision made its mark as distributor of high-quality ophthalmic products within Benelux in specialty domains such as cataract and refractive (premium) surgery on the one hand, and equipment for diagnostics and treatment of a multitude of eye pathologies as well as ocular surface diagnostics and dry eye causal treatment on the other.

Providing private clinics as well as hospitals with high-quality products also means providing flexible service, reliability and in-house expertise. These are the pillars our company was built on.

In 2021, Simovision was acquired by the American company Hilco Vision. The company’s product portfolio is concentrated on 5 primary product categories: Professional Optical Tools, Ophthalmic Supplies, Vision Protection, Consumer Accessories and Lenscare.

Ross Brownlee, CEO of Hilco Vision, commented:
